If this is true, I should be dead.
I smoke, high stress job and live in the high designated areas.
I think that genetics is more important than location.

They are saying Environmental factors are part of the picture, not the only thing that matters. It is true that some conditions are more prevalent in certain areas (one example is Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which is most often found in developed nations).
