This Mitsukuaina or Goblin Shark was caught in in the black waters off of Yokohama it has awl like teeth and is normally found at depths greater than 200 meters.

The Goblin shark is a truly strange shark. It is not hard to understand how it got its name when you see it since it looks like something out of a horror movie, like a representation of a demon or a goblin. The Goblin shark has only been encountered a few times and very little is known about this shark. What is know is that it is a slow moving deep sea shark that lives on depth of about 1200m /4000ft in Seas around the world. Goblin sharks have been observed in western Indian Ocean, western Pacific Ocean and most of the Atlantic.
